FPD's mechanical and hydraulic presses are used to produce precision net shaped and
conventional titanium, stainless steel and aluminum forgings. Our closed or open die forging process utilize cold forming, warm forming and isothermal forming technologies to produce forgings with a plan view area of 40 square inches or less. Processes and die geometries are designed with advanced 3-D modeling and state-of-the-art forging simulation software packages. This technology allows our engineers to design and test a forging process electronically before tooling is produced.
